We are the leading provider of cyclist insurance in the world and Strava's official insurance partner
The company was founded and is managed by people who love to ride their bikes. In fact, we started it because we ride and we were unable to find insurance that met our needs.
Theo founded the original Velosure in 2008. Velosure Australia was the first in the world to use the name Velosure, and the first at the time doing insurance specifically for cyclists on a stand-alone basis. The business soon took off and established itself as the market leader in Australia, distributing cycling insurance under multiple different brands. In 2013 the decision was made to expand the business to the USA and the UK. Today the business is operating under multiple brands in the USA, the UK and Australia, distributing insurance through amazing partners like Strava, Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles. Theo loves to ride anything with 2 wheels.
Aryna was part of the original team that started Velosure Bicycle Insurance in Australia in 2008. Aryna knows first hand what the underside of a bus looks like while the wheels destroyed her bike and is very fortunate to be able to tell the story. She is the one keeping all the moving parts of the organisation together and is responsible for the global operations of Sundays Insurance. She has always had a passion for the outdoors, photography and sport, in particular for mountain biking. Her next big race is a 7-day stage race over 614km traversing the Garden Route of South Africa, The Transcape in 2018.
Arthur has over 20 years worth of experience in the UK insurance market, and is the team’s resident Ironman, with three races planned for next year. He recently completed Ironman Zurich, with a sub 6 on his bike. He rides to work on his Boardman which he built himself, uses a Felt for the road and a Cervelo P5 for Triathlons. He enjoys cycling in Regent’s Park and North London, and says cresting the top of Alpe d’Huez was one of his all-time most exhilarating cycling moments.
